Dr Belinda Coulton
Principal Osteopath
With over 30 years of clinical experience, Belinda has a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of conditions and has treated people of various ages; from day-old babies to the elderly.
Dr Belinda Coulton
Principal Osteopath
Belinda has found osteopathy to be an effective way to treat simple and complex problems of the neuromusculoskeletal system as it looks at the cause of the problem and not just the area of complaint.
Being passionate about the benefits of osteopathic treatment and management for infants, children and the mother-baby unit, Belinda continues to lecture with the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation, which she began back in 1996, over 20 years ago. She has also previously lectured at the undergraduate program at RMIT to osteopathic students. Belinda has been a guest speaker on many occasions, sharing her love for osteopathy and the many benefits of osteopathic healthcare. In 2012, Belinda enrolled in further post graduate studies at Victoria University where she was awarded a graduate certificate in Neonatal & Infant Paediatric Manual Therapy.
In the future Belinda hopes she can continue to strengthen the position of osteopathy in the healthcare sector by undertaking further research in the field of osteopathy and infant plagiocephaly.
Dr Patrick Callanan
Principal Osteopath
Patrick has vast clinical practice experience, having worked in several multi-disciplinary clinics over the past 20+ years, and has been invited to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr Patrick Callanan
Principal Osteopath
‘From 2003 I have taught with the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation of ANZ – a not for profit teaching foundation that trains qualified osteopaths to further their skills. I love doing this as I feel a real duty to pass on all the wonderful things my mentors have taught me over the years. I have also lectured and tutored in the RMIT osteopathic undergraduate program (1999 -2004).’
Having had a lifelong commitment to osteopathy,Patrick loves working with patients of all ages to try to help them to reach their healthy potential.
‘Coming from a big family myself – being one of six children – and having 4 of my own, I especially like working with kids and mums and it is great to see the difference you can make. As they say, as the twig is bent so does the tree incline – so it is a time when you can help them enormously’
Patrick also has a keen interest in treating problems associated with the mechanics of how we walk and run, and providing exercise advice to keep you on your feet.
‘In my early years of practice in Christchurch New Zealand I developed a keen interest in sports injuries partly due to my own background in football, cricket whitewater kayaking and ultimate frisbee. I also worked closely with the local podiatrist, so much so that I ended up lecturing at the national podiatry conference explaining pelvic and lower limb mechanics from an osteopath’s perspective.’
‘What keeps amazing me is how osteopathy’s holistic and detailed approach to the neuromusculoskeletal system allows for truly individual treatment and management plans tailored to you and your body. This is so often the key to getting sustained relief from a wide variety of conditions because I end up addressing the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction instead of just the symptoms.’
Patrick regularly undertakes professional development courses to keep his skills current.
In 2012 he was awarded a Graduate Certificate in Neonate and Infant Paediatric Manual Therapy from Victoria University.
‘I just love osteopathy because it works!’

Dr Mitchell Evans
Osteopath
Mitchell graduated from RMIT University in 2018 after completing his Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). Mitchell’s interest in osteopathy stemmed from his involvement in sport, and the way the body copes and changes during physical activity and daily life. He was also fascinated by how injuries occur and how dysfunctions in one part of the body could lead to pain/discomfort/injury to another part.
Mitchell loves the holistic approach osteopathy has to offer, including the way it takes into consideration the person as a whole and how multiple factors can contribute to the person’s complaint. Along with osteopathy treatment, Mitchell is also qualified to perform dry needling and cupping, adding an alternative therapy to his skill set.
Through the future, Mitchell is interested in keeping up to date with current research as well as practicing and refining his skills, allowing his patients to experience the best possible care. Mitchell is interested in any type of sporting injury and chronic pain. Mitchell’s goal is to help people improve their overall health and get them back enjoying their daily life and activities.
